The Navajo Nation Council enacted the Local Governance Act codified as 26 NNC establishing Community Land Use Plan Committee to assist in making decisions over local matters; and allowing community to excel and flourish, enable Navajo leaders to lead toward a prosperous future and improve the strength and sovereighnty of the Navajo Nation, including custom and tradition.
